I have to be honest, hearing about Paris Hilton launching a footwear line didn't surprise me at all. I figured sooner or later that would happen eventually. That sentiment was shared upon reading pop singer Jessica Simpson's footwear collection.

Whenever celebrities use their names to brand shoes, apparel, coffee mugs or any merchandise, I see it just another way of raking in some royalties and most of the time the merchandise is really not all that. I have to admit Jessica and Paris' are doing a great job on their shoe collections. The shoes are chic and affordable. Keep those fabulous stomps coming!
