For Holiday 2011, Barneys New York partnered with none other than Mother Monster herself, Lady Gaga and created Gaga's Holiday Workshop. It's a wonderland filled with limited edition jewelry, apparel, accessories, candy and toys for everyone... not just for 'little monsters'.

When I first heard about this collaboration, I was expecting the usual things you expect when a celebrity partners with a department store. Which is basically items with their name and picture that's it. But Gaga's Workshop is more than just the branding. There's a lot of creativity and imagination poured into this project. And by the looks of the pieces, I'm sure Lady Gaga herself contributed equally as well.

Barneys is donating 25% of all items sold from Gaga's Workshop to Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way Foundation'. A nonprofit foundation focusing on youth empowerment and equality by addressing issues like self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development and will utilize digital mobilization as one of the means to create positive change. The foundation will work with a number of partners, including the John D.&Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the California Endowment and the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.

The last but certainly not the least of The Smart Stylist's Top 10 Holiday Gifts Under $100 this year is perhaps the easiest to compile. Basically, these gift ideas are what I wouldn't mind getting for Christmas. Practical yet stylish and functional.
