Most guys won't admit that they're skeptical. They might not know it but most guys (me included) are. Always questioning this or that and when we get the answer we still doubt. And our minds won't rest until we see it on writing.
To help the modern day skeptical man The Art of Shaving has created 'The Skeptic's Guide To Better Living' - a guide which includes advice and guidance about topics men are most skeptical about and interested in, from a variety of credible experts in the fields of style, fitness, food, career, real estate and more. This guide is full of helpful and enriching information. And for someone who considers to be well-versed in fashion, I actually learned a thing or two reading this guide.
The fashion expert on 'The Skeptic's Guide To Better Living' is top celebrity stylist Sam Saboura. He also penned the introduction for the guide.

TSS: What did you enjoy most being a part of 'The Skeptics Guide To Better Living'?
Sam: As a style expert and blogger, guys are constantly coming to me for advice. Men today are the biggest skeptics out there! I've been giving men fashion advice for years, but I wanted to create something that offers more than just style advice, but advice in all the areas that men are interested and curious about, from fitness to real estate to how to get socially connected.
It was great to work on a project that offers all kinds of great advice that men can benefit from and ladies can share with the men in their lives. I even learned a few things from the other experts myself!
TSS: What 5 essentials every guy should have in his closet?
Sam:I have a few more suggestions than just five things. It's not about the amount of each item you, but the variety of each item so you can mix and match to create your own look. You can never go wrong when you start with a great pair of jeans in a dark or authentic looking vintage wash.
Add a tailored, washed button down shirt and top it off with a knit, a sport coat, or a casual jacket that's worn in and soft. A classic watch and a broken in leather shoe should finish this look. The idea is to look effortless and handsome. I think guys should look like guys, not fussy or over-styled.
TSS: Men's Trend we can live without?
Sam: Everything starts with good grooming. Many men think that shaving is uncomfortable and they hate to shave. Chances are they've never learned the correct way to shave and have never experienced a shave with the right products, techniques, and tools. I want to educate men about how they can upgrade their shave. A few things men want to steer clear of are overly groomed eyebrows, processed dyed hair, and too fake tans. Eyebrows should be well groomed but not "shaped" or too clean. Hair should look natural, especially if color treated, and don't mess with a fake tan unless it looks as real as possible. Too much hair product or cologne is the kiss of death for me.
TSS: Most common fashion faux pas guys commit?
Sam: I think men who tend to wear their clothing too big and end up looking sloppy and unkempt. That's not to say encourage tight fitting clothes--there's a huge difference between wearing something that fits and something that's too tight. I always encourage guys to try an item of clothing in the size they think they are, and then one size smaller. Odds are the smaller size will win out, offering a more sleek and tailored look. Also, wearing white sneakers tends to kill any outfit.
