I attended a few parties this summer and witnessed not once but at least three times on different occasions, one of the worst involuntary and unintentional fashion blunder women can fall prey to... someone wearing the exact dress you have on! With more and more women getting fashion savvier each day, the chances of seeing your dress' evil twin gracing the same social engagement you RSVP to are pretty high. Not to mention, the time and money invested to feel and look extra special loses some of it's value.

My advice to prevent such melancholic fashion faux pas? Know how to incorporate the season's trends to your style. Keyword is 'incorporate', a head to toe look with all of the season's trends makes you look like a walking trend list. Think vintage - an homage to vintage or vintage inspired fashions are always a hit when styled right. Shop for interesting and fresh silhouettes. And most importantly, remember it's you who make fashion happen not the other way around.
