Total shock, sadness and a feeling of great lost is what I felt upon hearing the death of Alexander McQueen, one of fashion's greatest designer. McQueen was a visionary. Always pushed the boundaries. On the day of his death, alexandermcqueen.com was temporarily taken down in respect to McQueen's passing. Speculations surrounds his death and I guess no one really knows the real reason why McQueen took his life. His legacy will live through his creations and it was decided that the Alexander McQueen band will live on.

Alexander McQueen Fall/Winter 2010 Collection is regal, opulent, chic and the designs are fit for a queen. The fabrics, designs and silhouettes are chic and modern. The collection was shown in a romantic setting without the extra effects we would expect from a McQueen show. The show was serene and underneath the oohs and ahhs... there's a feeling of sadness in the air because this was the last collection we will see from Alexander McQueen. The collection was titled 'Each piece is unique, as was he', so true. He surely will be missed.
